First Thoughts: Revlon ColorStay Foundation

Let me start out by saying: I am not a foundation girl. Foundation never feels right on my skin, it's almost like it's a mask. It makes me look oily/greasy. I just look like a mess when I wear it. I've tried countless products, brushes, and techniques. I finally gave up on foundation. I don't need it anyway, yes I have discoloration and acne, but I'm only a teenager, I don't need to be covering that up anyway.
For my brother's wedding, which was last week, I was a bridesmaid. I was in countless pictures and my skin was acting up. I knew I wanted a little coverage for this day. So two days before I asked my mom and my sister to pick up this Revlon ColorStay foundation for combination/oily skin, the one that I've heard amazing reviews about. What did I have to lose anyway? So I tried it the night before the wedding, for the rehearsal dinner and oh my goodness. This foundation worked wonders. I wouldn't say it is really heavy coverage, but I like that. It covered enough without making me look like a slabbed on mud on my face. It didn't make me feel oily, it didn't feel as if it was even on my face. It lasted all night - due to the help of other products I use.. If I was a foundation wearer, I'd wear this everyday. But like I said, I'm just a teenager, and I don't want to be covering up my acne to only make it worse.
In my opinion this foundation is fairly priced. At my Ulta, it is $11.99 which might seem kind of pricey for a drugstore foundation. None of the foundations I've purchased for less even compare. I'd say their color choices are great. They have 20 different colors to pick from on Ulta's website. Some unfortunately are online only.
My shade is 200 Nude. I apply this over my Origins VitaZing moisturizer with my Sigma F60 brush. I then tap over everything was my Sigma duo fiber F50 brush to even everything out. After that, I'll use my Sigma large powder F30 brush to sweep my Maybelline Dream Matte Powder on.
I'd give this product a 4.5 out of 5.
